itLogistixs solutions are designed with security as a priority, not an after thought.
Every technology provider lists security as a bullet point on their website, stating the obvious. Antivirus, spyware removal, wireless encryption and firewalls are all extremely important, but are only part of security. Sure having a firewall reduces risk, but what risks you’re protecting against? Are the logs reviewed? If the firewall has IDS/IPS built-in, is it enabled? Configured? Are Patches being deployed monthly to reduce exposure to known vulnerabilities? Is there a comprehensive Server, Desktop, and Application Antivirus system in place? Are any of these items regularly assessed, monitored, and reviewed?
Even with the system in place to secure your network, unsuspecting employees can still be fooled by fake websites that download malware to their PC, steal the corporate credit card numbers, or worse. System level protection measures like Antivirus and Group Policy - along with business security policies, procedures and training - should all be part of securing your network.
